Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 12:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Same-day arrivals are possible when the apartment is ready. Call the desk to confirm.
The lead guest gives a Ghana Card, passport, driver’s licence or voter’s ID number when booking and shows the card at check-in.
Stays run from 1 to 92 nights online. Longer terms are arranged with management.

Accommodation is paid online through Paystack by Mobile Money or card.
Your dates are held for 15 minutes while you complete payment. Unpaid holds are released automatically.

We do a full deep clean after you have checked out and left the property.
Please wash all dishes, pots and utensils you used before checking out. If you leave them unwashed, a GH₵160 cleaning fee is charged to cover the extra housekeeping.
There is no daily housekeeping or morning cleaning. If you want the apartment cleaned during your stay, book it on the Services page: it’s GH₵160 per clean, paid online, and it goes to the cleaner.

A refundable GH₵200 deposit is paid at check-in, in cash only. It is not part of the online total.
House parties use a GH₵500 cash security deposit, returned after the party. It is not an advance payment.
The deposit is returned at check-out after inspection. Damage, missing items or extra cleaning may be deducted.

Before check-in, you can reschedule to new dates subject to availability, or take a 50% refund.
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 2 to 3 working days, once our accounts team approves them.
Unpaid holds that expire do not incur any charge.

Gatherings and parties inside the apartment are strictly limited to a maximum of 15 people. House parties are held in Unit 3 only.
If your guest count exceeds 15 people, you are required to book our rooftop pergola instead.
You are welcome to book overnight accommodation after your party, within room limits: a maximum of 6 overnight guests in a two-bedroom apartment and 3 in a one-bedroom.
The security deposit is GH₵500 for bookings involving a house party or gathering, and GH₵200 for standard overnight stays. It is paid strictly in cash at check-in.
The deposit is held only to secure the property against damage or policy violations. It is not part of our rental income or booking fees, and is refunded in full at check-out if the property is left in good condition and all house rules are respected.

Keep noise and music at a reasonable level, especially after midnight. Please respect neighbours and other guests.
Parties and events require advance approval. The guest limit for a house party is 15.
Visitors must be registered with the front desk.
DeHideout is 100% smoke-free. Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, vapes and cannabis, is not allowed anywhere on the property: indoor rooms, balconies, stairwells, hallways and the whole outdoor compound.
Guests who wish to smoke must leave the property gates entirely.
If any sign of smoking is found anywhere on the property, including smoke odour, ash, burn marks or cigarette butts, a GH₵2,500 remediation and cleaning fee is charged immediately. Breaking this rule may also end your stay at once, without a refund.
Unit 2 is on the ground floor; Units 3 and 4 are on the first floor.
The one-bedroom option in Units 2 and 4 locks the second bedroom, and the whole unit stays reserved for you.
